Premium web animations and micro-interactions (Web Motion Design)

Custom animations and micro-interactions that make your brand feel premium.

Laptop showing premium web animations: GSAP scroll motion, micro-interactions, Lottie and SVG animation and a 3D product showcase

Visitors decide within seconds whether a website is a unique, premium brand or a templated, boring off-the-shelf one. Modern web motion design is not decoration for its own sake: it is the most important tool for directing attention, digital storytelling and a premium user experience (UX).

This service lifts your website to the level of Apple and the leading international tech brands. With lightweight, hardware-accelerated code (GSAP, CSS3, Lottie, SVG) we bring static elements to life: elegant scroll effects, interactive micro-interactions and subtle animations guide the user through the page, while loading stays lightning-fast and motion stays butter-smooth (60/120 FPS) on every device.

Which tasks and areas does the service cover?

  • Scroll-driven interactions (scroll-driven & GSAP ScrollTrigger)
    • Elements that float in, unfold and layered parallax effects, paced to the logic of the content.
    • Product showcases that unfold dynamically in response to scroll speed (for example 3D-style rotations, visuals that split into pieces).
    • Progress indicators, interactive counters and timelines that start when the right section is reached.
  • UI micro-interactions and feedback
    • Custom premium buttons, card hovers and menu transitions that react to clicks and hover.
    • Custom interactive cursors and light effects that actively follow the visitor's movement.
    • Subtle, elegant feedback for form fields and success and error states, to support conversion.
  • Lightweight vector illustrations and Lottie animations
    • Converting After Effects / Figma graphics into an ultra-light JSON format (Lottie / Bodymovin / SVG).
    • Razor-sharp, pixel-free animated icons and infographics at a fraction of the size of a video or GIF.
    • Interactive illustrations that start on a user's click or scroll.
  • Performance optimization and accessibility
    • Only GPU-accelerated CSS transforms and fine-tuned JavaScript (no page freezing or lag).
    • Responsive behavior: more restrained, touch-aware logic on mobile to spare the battery and processor.
    • Built-in prefers-reduced-motion support to protect users sensitive to animation.

The steps of the project

  • Motion concept and timing: We plan the rhythm, the easing curves and the key points, so the movement feels natural and premium.
  • Coding and embedding libraries: I write clean GSAP, CSS or Lottie code at minimal size and fit it straight into the structure of your website.
  • Fine-tuning triggers and interactions: I set the scroll thresholds, click events and feedback states.
  • Performance and stability test: I check for a stable 60 FPS on older phones, on laptops and in different browsers.
  • Going live and testing: I build the animations into the live site, making sure the layout stays stable (no CLS errors).

What does the handover include?

  • Clean, minimalist, modern source code (GSAP / CSS / SVG / Lottie).
  • Smooth, responsive operation in desktop and mobile views.
  • A performance check (PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals compatibility).
  • Animation classes that are easy to reuse when you add content later.

How we work and how it is priced

  • Fixed project price: A fee fixed in advance, based on the complexity of the elements to animate, the number of sections and the depth of interactivity.
  • Wow-factor guarantee: I do not hand over a template collection of effects, but a custom experience that reflects the brand standard of MotionFlow.

Frequently asked questions

Will it slow down my website's loading or lower the Google PageSpeed score?

No, I work in an explicitly performance-conscious way. I use no heavy videos or processor-intensive frameworks: I build in only ultra-light SVG/Lottie vectors, modern GSAP code and GPU-accelerated CSS transforms. The animations run asynchronously, so they hurt neither loading speed nor the Google Core Web Vitals (mainly CLS and LCP).

Can these premium animations be added to an existing website, or do I have to start development over?

You do not have to rebuild the website. Whether it is a custom HTML/CSS/JS interface, a React/Next.js project, Webflow or even WordPress, motion elements can be integrated afterwards without any trouble. I target the sections, buttons or product blocks where you want to make the biggest impact and make them interactive.

How do the animations work on mobile and on older or weaker phones?

Completely different interaction rules apply on mobile. Since a touchscreen has no classic mouse cursor and no hover, I strip out unnecessary desktop effects on mobile or turn them into direct touch feedback (tap animation). The code automatically watches the device's load, supports battery-saving behavior, and respects the visitor's operating-system motion-reduction setting (prefers-reduced-motion).

Why are Lottie animations better than traditional videos or GIF files?

GIFs are huge in file size, slow the phone down and turn pixelated on larger screens; embedded videos generate a lot of data traffic and are awkward to control. Lottie is a modern, vector JSON format: it stays razor-sharp even on a retina display while the file is often only 20–60 KB. On top of that it can be manipulated from code in real time: sped up on scroll, stopped on a click, or made to follow the user's movement.

If I later update the text or images on the page, will the animation fall apart?

No, because I strictly separate the motion logic from the static content. I work with reusable classes, flexible trigger zones and dynamic sizing. That ensures that if you replace an image or write a longer headline, the animation adapts to the new size automatically, without positions colliding.
