Office Scanner ("the app") is developed by Motion Flow Studio. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the app — in short: nothing leaves your device.
Data collection
Office Scanner does not collect, transmit, or have access to any personal data, usage data, or analytics of any kind. The app has no server, no backend, and makes no network requests as part of its normal operation. We — the developers — have no way to see your documents, your usage, or any information about you, because the app was built with no mechanism to send anything to us or to anyone else.
Where your documents are stored
Every document you scan is stored locally, in the app's private, sandboxed storage on your device. Documents are protected by Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. If you have iCloud or iTunes device backups enabled, your documents are included in those backups the same way any app's data is — Office Scanner itself does not upload anything to any cloud service it operates, because it does not operate one.
Camera and Face ID
The app requests camera access solely to let you scan documents, and Face ID/Touch ID access solely to lock the app's contents. Neither is used for any other purpose, and neither results in any data being sent anywhere.
Third parties
Office Scanner contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no analytics libraries. No data is shared with any third party, because none is collected in the first place.
Children's privacy
Since the app collects no data from anyone, it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect data from children either.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future update adds an optional feature that involves data), this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect it.
